Prayer Prayer

When visiting a shrine, you normally go to the front of the main building, make an offering, and bow. However, if you wish to make a personal prayer (for success in exams, business success, protection from misfortune, etc.) or if you wish to go up to the main building to pray (ascending the main building to pray), you will need to apply to the shrine.

When you arrive at the shrine, first hand over the offering at the shrine office (where sacred talismans and amulets are distributed), then fill out the designated form with your address, name, and prayer request (wish), and apply to worship.

Once you have completed the application process, a Shinto priest will guide you to the shrine. Shortly thereafter, the prayer festival will begin. However, if there are people who have made prior reservations for prayers, you will be asked to wait.

Therefore, we recommend that you complete your application in advance and arrive at the scheduled time.
